I have had my dental work done by Dr. Deans over the past 50 years. I have not had any problems with his work and have had positive comments from oral health providers concerning his work. He seems to be current on trends in dentistry through his teaching at the University of Washington Dental School. He is honest in his asessment of dental conditions and does not try to "sell" agressive or expensive treatments. He is excellent with his administration of novacaine. He has a reasonable fee schedule and will work with patients who need financial assistance. Dr. Deans does his own cleaning without the aid of hygienists. He is nearing a well-deserved retirement and has office hours part of the week.

I do not know the definition of dental implant. I have had a triple crown put in, but not in front. I have been a patient of Dr. Deans' for 35 years and have felt well served. He is a master at limiting pain. I have had various fillings and repairs done. I still have my teeth so I still need him around. He and his wife run the small office near the University and are seniors. I said to them recently I was planning to live another twenty years and I hope he will be practicing that much longer. They looked at each other and said "Well, we'll try."
When I needed a root canal a few years ago they sent me to a doctor downtown. He would do any procedure he is not fully qualified and equipped to do.

After leaving Dr. Dean's office, I didn't feel like I had enough treatment done. I initially went in to find the reason why my teeth had been hurting so much. His diagnosis was that they were too sensitive and too use a toothpaste that was appropriate but this is still a problem and I'm unable to eat. I was NOT satisfied with my treatment by any means.

Dr. Deans has wonderful knowledge and experience. He does superb work and even does the cleaning himself. He worked with me to accommodate my diagnostic and treatment requests. He is a good listener and truly cares for his patients. He has some Saturday hours. I highly recommend Dr. Deans.
