This is very sad for me to read the review from 2008 regarding Dr. Roberts lack of presence in the office as I had a similar experience. I went to Dr. Roberts based on his excellent reviews in Checkbook and Seattle's Top Dentist. When I called to make the appointment I specifically asked for Dr. Roberts. However when I was done with my cleaning and the dentist came out, it was not Dr. Roberts. I had no idea who this person was and I was extremely uncomfortable being treated by someone I knew nothing about.
I did inquire on my way out why I got someone other than Dr. Roberts and was given a vague answer saying that Dr. Roberts was out of the office for an unknown length of time.
Despite my misgivings I proceeded with the treatment the other dentist reccommended. Months later I'm still working with another dentist at another practice to fix the work I had done at Dr. Roberts office. I am so sorry I didn't go with my gut and walk away.
If you're going here based on reviews about Dr. Roberts, I'd highly reccommend before you go in that you make sure it's Dr. Roberts who will actually be treating you.

I am very pleased with my experiences at Dr. Robert's office. I came here after having a bad experience at another dentist's office.
To start, the receptionist is very friendly and tries to really make you feel comfortable and welcomed. I got lost trying to find the office on my first visit, and she actually left the office to come look for me.
Dr. Roberts is very patient but efficient; even on a day when they were running behind, he still took the time to answer my (list of!) questions. The other place I went to quickly rushed through my cleaning and left a lot of stains/tartar on my teeth, not to mention a feeling of grit on my teeth that did not go away. I was willing to pay again for a more thorough cleaning (I have no dental insurance), but Dr. Roberts had his hygienist go over the missed spots, and they were willing to do it for free, no strings attached.
I also had three fillings done over two different visits and found that Dr. Roberts has a very gentle touch. He doesn't pull your mouth in odd directions, rest his hand on your face, or anything else that would make you feel uncomfortable.
If you want a dentist who cares, and has very reasonable fees, pick Guy Roberts. :]

After going to Dr. Roberts since 2001 or so, I began feeling uncomfortable with his lack of presence in the office (golfing) and a staff member.
I decided to try a different dentist within the Seattle area, and after the first visit, I was told that I had over ten cavities (major) cavities. This was quite a blow after seeing Dr. Roberts and previous dentists every six months for my entire life. Prior to seeing Dr. Roberts, I had one cavity, I floss every day, and brush multiple times per day.
In the 2006/2007 timeframe, I received a letter from Dr. Roberts regarding a bicycle accident that he was involved in while biking with his daughter and the letter stated that he would be out of the office for a period of time.
Today, I was told by someone who knows Dr. Roberts well that the letter was not true and people are writing the WA dental board regarding Dr. Robert's negligence.

My family has always gone to Dr. Roberts. I stopped for a few years, and I'm headed back! The team hasn't changed since I was a kid. A company that takes care of it's employees takes care of its customers, and my family has always been satisfied.

The overall experience at this office is sensational and the quality and care is superb. I loved the team, all of them, especially Rhonda she's smokin hot . I really had a great time and left feeling beautiful and healthy. You have to visit their practice.

I've only been to Dr. Roberts once. But compared to my last dentist it was awesome. Zoey is an awesome DA and Dr. Roberts took the time to explain the options for the condition of my tooth that broke and my gum disease. I have an appointment again tomorrow to get the crown prepared. I used to gear dentists. Now I'm not so afraid of going. Thanks.

I had two fillings done by another dentist that kept giving me a lot of pain. the other dentist wasn't able to figure out what was wong. i went to dr. roberts for a second opinion and he correctly deduced that the other dentist should have used silver fillings. dr. roberts redid the filling and the pain has gone away.

I have been seeing Dr. Roberts for three years. He set a plan to accomplish work required to repair my ageing teeth. He has always used great consideration regarding my financial obligation and pace of work required

I had had major facial trauma, and put off going to the dentist as a result -Dr Roberts and crew took the time to learn about my issues, and have responded brilliantly.
They are casual, yet professional - attentive to my needs, without being intrusive - all in all the BEST dental experience I have ever known.
As a result, I've referred over a dozen people - and all have the same excellent experiences.
I would never go to another dentist.

I am undergoing some serious work - several years worth all at once. Dr. Roberts is great. His staff is also excellent. His work is not rushed, he is extremely professional and competent.
