I'm disappointed to report that I will not be returning to Dr. Sako. Heck, I can't even get them to call me back to make an appointment so even if I wanted to I couldn't. They NEVER answer the phone, and when you do get ahold of someone, you get Kathy (Dr. Sako's wife) who will advise you on dental issues even though she is not a dentist. You get the feeling she has no idea what she is talking about nor does she bother to pass your concerns on to Dr. Sako. Neither Dr. Sako or his wife seem to care that much. In fact, they care more about referring you to their cronies in the building, presumably for kickbacks. This is not a random review either, after a decade of putting up with this, I've had enough.
2/12/2013 UPDATE. When I called to complain about pain in my tooth, ACUTE PAIN, Kathy the receptionist/wife told me "That's impossible. You can't feel pain in that tooth because there is a root canal in it." I urged her to tell Dr. Sako. He called and left me a message with a referral to PULL THE TOOTH. Well, I finally got a second opinion and had the root canal redone. They found one of the canals grossly infected. I even had an abscess in the gum. The new endodontist redid the work and my tooth was saved.
About Front Desk: Kathy, Dr. Sako's wife, thinks she is a DDS and will give you advice that is downright criminal. Her message to me was to pull my tooth. She even gave me a referral. Well, when I had the root canal redone, there was nothing wrong with my tooth that needed it to be pulled. DO NOT let Kathy give you advice. She may be married to Dr. Sako but she is not a dentist.

Terrifc chair-side manner. Great technical skills for caps, crowns, etc.

Sako is a greaat dentist. I have gone to him for over 20 years. He has been our family dentist since my kids started going. I will stay with him for life.

Dr Sako and his staff are very professional and do a great job. He has performed root canals, crowns and bridges for my husband and myself. He is very calming, friendly and is next to pain free. His prices are reasonable and Kathy his office manager is on top of everything. We have and will continue to highly recommend them to anyone.

I do NOT take Novicane, however Dr. Sako was able to perform all my dental needs with little or no pain, including a crown! Amazing.

Very friendly, warm staff but never overly cheerful or false. Dr Sako talks plain and real and doesn't scold. Family run business. Great with my kids, too! Always patient with my payments - trusting I'll pay and sending me home with an envelope. Also helpful with my insurance which I never fully understand.
Beautiful new office but never gives you the impression they're too expensive for you!

Dr Sako has always been very friendly and thorough. Never makes me feel guilty for having a sweet tooth or not keeping up with my flossing. I would highly recommend him!

I've seen Dr. Sako since moving to Seattle, and is now the dentist to most of my friends. He and his entire staff offer incredible service. They have my highest recommendation.

Dr Sako has been doing my teeth since I started Jr High. I'm over now! He is a good guy, makes you comfortable, and works well with you to develop treatment plans. He's done tooth pulls, root canals, and implant crowns for me as well as normal cleanings and has always kept the pain and discomfort to the lowest possible level. What's more is that he's saved me more than once with emergency tooth cracks, infections, etc. He's a great dentist. I actually don't know much about his prices because I've always had insurance and I've never had to pay him anything, but when my then-fiance didn't have coverage and needed help, they worked out a payment plan.
