My last visit with Dr. Chaffin left me in tears. He talks in a very soft voice, & seemed to get frustrated when I couldn't hear him & respond to his commands because they had the suction running continuously & I couldn't hear him over the noise. I could not tell if he was speaking to me or the assistant. He was very rough, smashing my lips between his hands and my teeth, prying my mouth open roughly; my gums were sore for 3 days and the procedure did not even involve my gums! I have spent a lot of money at his office for gum grafting, but he seemed especially put out that I was only coming in for 6-month check-ups and not every 3 months. I don't have dental insurance, so can't afford to come in every 3 months. I should have told him how I felt before I left, but I was afraid I would start crying even more.
About Front Desk: Terry and Tracy are both very nice, and both are efficient at their jobs.
About Hygienist: Awesome! She is the most gentle, thorough hygienist I have ever gone to. She is sweet, personable, and easy to talk to. Definitely makes going to the dentist a little nicer!
