I started going to Dr Caliri and taking my children to her in the early 90's. Her office was on University then, and we had to run up and down putting quarters in the meter. I took them to her for ten years. Then, after she moved, and after never missing an appt in all those years and being on standby for many extra appts for the kids, I had a fever the day of my appt and called in, to find myself being told not to call back until I was 'ready to commit.' This is for one miss in all those years mind you - the secretary was actually what I would call angry - it was like the twilight zone. The whole office got a sour unfriendly feel and with regret I stopped going to her altogether. I really rooted for Dr. Caliri over the years and to find myself and our large family so meaningless to her was a total disappointment.

I have had no complaints in all the time that I have been seeing her. This dentist relined my dentures and it was a perfect fit. With my previous dentist I had to make several follow-up trips before he got it right. Since I am loosing my dental insurance I will have to look for another dentist because she does not take PPO dental insurance, which is all that I can afford. The office doesn't look like much from the outside but is very nice and a pleasant atmosphere inside. Easy access to the freeway.
About Hygienist: The hygienist that I usually see is very friendly and does a good and thorough job. She takes a personal interest in her patients and is a good educator too.

Dr. Caliri and her staff are very professional, which I sincerely appreciate. They treat me with respect and are never condescending. The hygenists are very knowledgeable; they make great recommendations for home care. Dr. Caliri and her hygenists are sensitive to the amount of pain they may cause and are very careful to make the patient comfortable. I have heat and cold sensitive teeth, and they do their best to accommodate me.

the best ever. i have intense fear of dentists, but not with susan. she is comforting, patient, and understanding of the fear of needles and drills.

I recommend Dr. Caleri very highly. She is very friendly, efficient and obviously keeps up to date with the academic news & techniques in dentistry. She will never try and sell a cosmetic procedure [whitening etc.]. She also hates inflicting any pain and makes sure you are totally comfortable. If you read the review of the patient that had issues with pain during their cleaning, I am sure it was lack of communication on their part [and probably awful hygiene]. Dr. Caleri is the first dentist that I look forward to seeing VS dreading!

Very good. Saved my teeth. Periodontists are extremely thorough, rather than taking a superficial approach. Dr. Caliri knows her stuff, and her office staff are always friendly and on top of things.

I have been going to Dr. Caliri for 14 years now, and she is fantastic as a person and as a dentist. She did veneers on my two front teeth, and (over 10 years later) no one can believe they're not real. She has fitted me for nightguards, and she has even caught medical issues that my doctors haven't caught. I can't say enough positive things about my experiences with her. She has delightful assistants and her receptionist, Mary, is also wonderful. I actually look forward to going to the dentist - need I say more?

Wonderful staff convinced me to undergo several treatments that were long overdue.
Courteous and thorough in explanations, I felt safe bringing in my six and three year old. They accepted my insurance, even when I switched employers. My mouth is a much happier place thanks to The wonderful team at Dr. Caliri's!

I had to come back twice for a cleaning my a I had so much plaque. The first hygienist cause m,e a lot of pain...the second caused me none. Ask for a gentle hygienist.

There were some discrepancies between costs I was informed of before having dental work, and what I was actually charged in the end. Don't know why that was, but I ended up paying a lot more than I was led to believe it would cost. On the plus side, office staff was very curteous.
