I had my wisdom teeth taken out with Dr.Jack and it was just an awful, traumatic experience. When I got there I was very nervous, first tome being under, I started crying and the nurses just pulled my hand held it down and the doctor stick the nettle in my hand. That by itself gave me nightmares for three months. When I woke up I was in this bed they have in the hallway and the nurse just told me to pick up my bag and showed me the way out. I was walking with my bag 2 minutes after I was awake. I could barely stand on my own but a wheel chair or assistance to the car wasn’t provided. My mom has to help me the walk to the car and during waking down the stairs I tripped and she almost broke her back trying to prevent me from falling. I am 9 months after the surgery and I still have pain in that area where my teeth were pulled. My NEW dentist said that the procedure was poorly made and I’m suffering from dry sockets. After talking to other people about their wisdom teeth experience I realized how wrong and poor mine was.

My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed here. The fornt office lady needs to retire(grumpy, grumpy). When the day arrived my daughter went back, I was told it would take about 2 hours. As I waited in the freezing cold waiting room, nothing was said to me. Two separate times patients came in. They came out to get them and not once said a word or made eye contact to me(the worried mom). After 2 hours of freezing I chose to go outside in the sun to warm up. The next thing I see the assistant walking my groggy daughter out the door. I asked why the dentist did not talk to me about the exam and she told me that he never talks to the parents after this procedure. What a joke. I expressed my dislike of this practice to his assistant. All my other kids oral surgeons called me to talk to me about how things went and showed me the teeth they pulled. After things got worse, her pain was horrible and not only that my daughter started getting very bad bloody noses(which she has never had a bloody nose at all). The assistant called to check up on her and again I expressed my dislike about their practice. Why didn't the dentist himself call? She put a call into him and he ended up calling me back the next day. A little to late for my liking.

About Front Desk: Not nice at all. I believe they hate their job.

Dr. Mills took out my wisdom teeth and it was such a easy experience that I went back to him for a procedure to build up my gum line to protect my teeth better. My husband has had implants done by him and, in fact, will be having another implant this fall. Dr. Mills and his office staff are so professional and experienced- you know you are in good hands. Dr. Mills has always been available to my husband and me on nights and weekends if we have questions. He will even come to the office after hours to see his patients and make them comfortable.

Both my children had their wisdom teeth removed there. The surgery was fast, painless and there were no complications. His staff is very efficient.

I've gone to Dr. Mills twice over the past 2 years to remove wisdom teeth--first I got one out and then I decided to get the remaining 3 out. I'm older (38) and the procedure is supposed to be harder on older patients. Well, the oral surgeries themselves were completely painless due to IV sedation, and my recoveries were textbook. I think Dr. Mills is a kind and careful surgeon. However, the front desk staff were a little short with me, and they seemed annoyed all the time, and I think they could have been more understanding of the scary procedure that is oral surgery. I did develop a complication (not Dr. Mills' fault) of dry socket in one tooth, and Dr. Mills cared for me (treated the socket) every other day for about two weeks, for free. I would recommend him, especially as he came also recommended by my excellent dentist, Dr. Kihlstrom.
