Anyone interested in being treated by Dr. Tiner needs to go to The Dental Board of California and enter his name, then click on it and go to Accusation Filed and read about the woman who was burned badly and Dr. Tiner did not provide emergency medical care, etc. etc. Why? Because he was trying to protect his reputation? Well, this is word of mouth so you be the judge. I don't know why he is still practicing.

Dr. Tiner seems like a fine oral surgeon. His staff, however is sabotaging his business. After oral surgery, I was told someone would call that afternoon or evening to check on me. No call. I was told there would be a followup appointment and they would call to remind me. No call. The woman who handles finances is a harridan. She was unfriendly when I arrived and poisonous when I left. The referring dentist's staff said they have heard this before.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!! I chose him out of the phone book. I never trust my gut and this was another example of me not trusting my instincts! The staff is nothing if not too quiet and not willing to even hold a conversation with you. There was only one woman in that office that even bothered to care about my anxiety or stress and Dr. Tiner has THE WORST chairside manner I have ever experienced in my life. Do not expect him to give a darn about your fear. Not only did he stab me repeatedly with the shots, he also kept squirting it down my throat before he even got to my jaw and gums. When I said I could still feel the pain, he yanked the utensils out and told me "I couldn't handle it." He was confrontational, argumentative, rude, and inconsiderate of people who have dental anxiety. They are supposed to make YOU feel at ease, not the other way around!! My favorite part of the visit was when he told me to "Have a nice life" and left me sitting in the chair. I still have my broken tooth....
