Dr. Dessner was one of two surgeons I have seen for implants. My experience with Dr. Dessner was excellent! Both implants were placed in about 45 min. The two implants I got with Dr. Dessner were less expensive than the one implant I got with my prosthodontist. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Dessner called me the next day to check on my progress. Follow up check-ups were free! I love my new teeth. I can highly recommend Dr. Dessner.

I know this doctor: I have had 2 implants with Dr. Dessner.

Dr. Stuart Dessner and his staff lack professionalism and a comforting environment. I was scheduled to have my wisdom teeth extracted by him and his team, however, I left after being treated so poorly. His staff were rude and came off under qualified and unprofessional. This initially made me nervous about the surgery, so I asked to meet Dr. Dessner to address my concerns and hopefully receive some reassurance. I told Dr. Dessner that I wasn't fully comfortable receiving the surgery yet because of how I was treated by his staff. He slammed his foot down and told me that my concerns were unwarranted, as he has been in the business 30 some years. I told him that I wasn't looking for an argument, just looking for some comforting before going into the surgery. Which I thought was a reasonable request after dealing with his rude staff. He became overwhelmed and clearly pissed off at my concerns. He told me that I was being rude for questioning the professionalism of his office. However, it is a major concern. I told him that I would not be getting my wisdom teeth extracted by him and left the patient room. On my way out he yells to his staff "well, looks like she's not getting her wisdom teeth out" and throws his arms in the air. Then as I'm walking out the door he screams "your loss". Dr. Dessner completely lost his cool. I have never been treated so poorly by a doctor or his staff, let alone been yelled at or humiliated by a doctor. This office completely lacks professionalism. I will never be going back there.

About Front Desk: Their knowledge is underwhelming. The staff was rude and unprofessional.

Predatory, risky, inaccurate, abusive, disrespectful. Office is uncomfortable and depressing. Desk help is like USSR. Implants were a total fail after $6000. Several dentist said they could not mount teeth to the implants. Had to get a bridge instead. Creepy guy kept putting hand on my leg and making suggestive comments while I was under sedation. Also performed plastic surgery that he was not license to perform. Horrible experience.

About Front Desk: Abusive, cold, strange.

Dr. Dessner removed my teenager's wisdom teeth. He said he could do it with or without anesthesia, but recommended the anesthesia for my son's comfort. My son had a great experience and I felt comfortable waiting in the waiting room. Office staff worked with my insurance when part was denied. My overall experience was excellent and much better than stories I have heard from my son's friends whom have also had their wisdom teeth removed this year.

About Front Desk: Extremely friendly and helpful! Xray of teeth sent from my dentist was not clear so office made sure my insurance would cover another panoramic. Follow up from staff was prompt and thorough.

dental implant. He sales pitched a procedure that cost me $600.00 out of pocket not covered by insurance. He claim it is an additonal procedure that helps the healing. He asked to give him permission when I was sitting on dentist chair and a little out of it due the numbing effect. He insist it would help the healing process. All the procedure was taken blood with a needle from my arm and inject it into my gum. Inside of the mouth is naturally very plenish of blood supply already so it was not really necessary. He is a good oral surgeon with good chair side manners, just did not like the sale pitch of the so call new advance prodedure just when I am at a vunerable stage of sitting on chair and little scared of the coming dental work.

About Front Desk: front desk staff was very friendly and pleasant.

Dr Dessner performed two services for me. The first was an extraction of a wisdoom tooth. The second was the extraction of a tooth and the placement of two implants. All of his services were done professionally and without pain. The cost was reasonable based on the area standards. His office is modern and perfectly formated to perform his specialty. He took a panoramic xray of my mouth and reviewed my entire dental condition which helped to bring all possible conditions to light which could cause furture problems His staff is friendly and truly helpfull. I would recomend him to anyone.

About 10 years ago, I awoke with a strange feeling in my face. Since I already had a scheduled appointment with my dentist that day, I went to him. He sent me over to Dr. Dessner's office where, after a neurological exam, he diagnosed Bell's Palsy and sent me to a neurologist. He was the only of the 3 drs. who told me to protect my eye (by covering it ) while my eyelid was paralyzed. Thanks to him, my recovery was umcomplicated. Recently, my tooth (that had had a root canal elsewhere) started to hurt. I thought that it would need to be pulled, but Dr. Dessner recommended an apicoectomy which saved it. He presented details and alternatives clearly and calmly. . Because of him (and his staff) I still have my tooth!! Wish all doctors were like him. Brilliant.!!

I was reffered to DR.Stuart Dessner. He broke the tooth adjacent to the one he was extracting. 1/3 of the tooth broke, exposing the nerves as he was leaning against it while pulling my wisdom tooth. Not only that, but he also left part of the root of my molar in my jaw. He said nothing about what happen after the surgery. After confronting, He admitted braking the tooth but refused to even pay to fix it. His responce was; sue me! While I'm in a lot of pain and will now need a root canal. This dentist is very rude and careless during whole procedure. Be ware, as this could happen to you. Thank's for your time.
