Dr. Ashman performed surgery on me and my 11 year old son. I found him to be excellent in performing his work. He explained everything that would happen during the procedure. His staff was very helpful in assisting me with scheduling the appointments and explaining my insurance benefits. They were all very kind and considerate. Our procedures went well and we experienced minimal discomfort afterwards. The procedures were affordable. His office was very comfortable and peaceful. I have recommended Dr. Ashman to several friends and co-workers. He's the best.

I was very upset with my visit to this Surgeon. He had to extract one of my top left molars ,this had to have been one of the most painful experiences of my life. He took 45 min. to extract JUST one!! He was huffing and pufing in the room trying to get my tooth out. He was yelling at his assitant to "get him smaller utensils" "I need more light". He got out the root canal machine and many other machines to try to get my root out and in the end he wound up driling through my sinus cavity and NEVER took the root!! The corners of my mouth, to all the streching he did, split the sides of my mouth and it took them almost 2 weeks to heal, my jaw popped for 2 weeks because of him forcfully prying open my mouth and he did keep holering at me to "open my mouth" , well it was I just have a small mouth and could not open in any more. He only gave me a 3 inj. of novacain which wore off half way through the procedure. The doctor wound up slamming!!the surgery door shut since i was crying so badly. They would not let me spit out all the blood in my mouth I was told to swallow it all, and when I asked for something to spit it out in since Iwas not swallowing it, the tech.handed me a tissue! the last thing they told me was dont sneeze for 3da

I got 5 teeth pulled at once, 4 wisdoms and 1 front tooth. My experience was pleasant. Very professional and no pain at all. A little naseaus when I awakened but no pain afterward! Very pleased and referred my sister and cousin who also got 4 wisdom teeth pulled with no complaints. Dr. Ashman was a referal from my orthodontist Dr. Winard, Elicot Cit, Md., great as well.

I was refered to Dr. Ashman through my dentist. I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed (3 impacted) under local anesthea. The procedure took about 15 minutes, was releatively painless, and the swelling was minimal. I would definately recommend Dr. Ashman.

Dr Ashman removed my four wisdom teeth in just over ten minutes. My recovery was excellent; I only need to take the prescription pain medicine for one day. One note, however, I did feel a little bit like I was going through a drive-thru. I still would highly recomend him.

I had very little pain and swelling and minimal blood loss after my extractions. He took out two wisdom teeth and I was up and about after just a couple of hours. The price was expensive for me b/c my insurance does not cover much.
