Most people dread having a tooth removed. In my case it was an emergency procedure due to an unrestorable tooth that had abscessed and had infected almost a quarter of my upper left gums. She was able to accommodate my needs after being contacted 10 minutes earlier. When she told me what procedures she would undertake I was EXTREMELY frighten. Normally I would like to be under full anesthesia for such procedure. She ensure me that she and her staff would make sure that I would feel no pain. She was true to her word. It was clear that Dr. Sandler was well aware of patient anxious behaviors and was prepared to addressed these. Between the Nitrous Oxide, her calming speech throughout the procedure, the soothing music that the patient get to choose, her assistant use of tactile anxiety relief tactics, and squeeze balls given to the patient to cope with stress and anxiety, the entire experience was made as pleasant it could possibly be. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND her . She clearly is a oral surgeon that cares about her patient before and after.
About Front Desk: To say her staff was highly professional and helpful to the patient is an understatement. When I came into Dr. Sandler's office I was in extreme pain with a very swollen face and had left my glasses at home. Her staff help me in filling out the paperwork necessary for new patients. Indeed, her receptionist/administrator (who had on a pink medical coat) was so professional I thought she was the doctor or the assistant!

My son had his wisdom teeth pulled out and everything went well. However and because the office manager or whoever handles the billing cannot figure out what we owe after the insurance pays them, I've had to wait over 3 months to get a refund on my overpayment. Dental costs are expensive enough and it aggravates me when I have to chase my refund because the dentist is in no hurry to return my money. I would not recommend Dr. Sandler because of the billing issue I have had.

Dr. Sandler removed my impact wisdoms on a emergency basis.. Her price wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive but when it came to an emergency appointment her office was willing to fit me in. Her and her office was very easy to deal with.

My wife had three extractions with this doctor. The billing office didn't follow the contractual billing arrangement with our insurer, Cigna and asked my wife to pay the cost of the procedures up front, although we had insurance. Cigna advised us that they were incorrect in their billing, which we tried to tell the billing manager, whom to no avail, continued telling us that we were wrong. She even ended up billing Cigna in the wrong manner again and now a month later, we're still trying to get them to bill our insurance correctly. The office staff is very unhelpful, rude, and treats everyone as if they don't have insurance or is an indigent. Extreme horrible experience and I would not recommend them to anyone, unless you enjoy pain after the surgical pain.

Dr Sandler was recommended to us by our family dentist, who in the past 20 years has referred only to the best. He was right again. The office staff is a pleasure to deal with.

She took all 4 of my wisdom teeth out. she was very professional and it was painless. she is very sweet and the best dentist in town.
