It was okay not the best but not the worst. I did not feel it was very good though.

The visit started out ok...I was having 4 teeth extracted. Dr. Sutley and his staff said they were easy teeth to remove and I did not require gas. I'm one of those people who needs multiple shots to totally numb my mouth. I had 16 shots total. During the 4th extraction Dr. Sutley became very impatient with the fact that I could still feel pain when he was about to pull. I guess it was taking too long and he needed to get to other patients. He gave me one last shot that was deeper & longer than all the rest and I swear it was done with spite...then he asked in a cold tone "do you feel anything NOW?". Need I say more...I will never return and I will never refer anyone to his office.

i also had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled by Dr. Sutley. Make sure you are thorough about asking questions and getting ANSWERS with this guy and his staff, because they will have you in and out before you know what hit you. He knows what he's doing, but he is not very gentle, or considerate. I told him mid procedure I was in pain, and he continued.

The actual procedure went fine. Scheduling was alright, until they got the time confused numerous times. The receptionist/scheduling was a little confused by something. The discharge also seemed very unprofessional. Verbally told me a few things and sent me on my way, no written list of how to take care or anything, and when you've just been under, you may not remember all of it, thankfully I came out alright.

I had my wisdom teeth out a week and a half ago. The next day I still could not feel the bottom right side of my face and lip and could not feel the bottom right side of my jaw. I also could not feel the left side of my tongue and could not open my mouth more than 1 inch. I called the 24 line at 7:00 am and they said the Dr would call me back at 8:00. He did not call back and I had to call at 8:20 and was blown off and told that everything would be fine in about 2 weeks and to call them in 2 weeks if I didn't have feeling back. I was never actually able to speak to the doctor. I still have lock jaw and some feeling is returning but I had to call another dentist to speak to someone about what actually happened and to get some more facts about what I was experience. The follow up service from this office is extremely poor.

Got 4 wisdom teeth removed all impacted, my oral surgen did such a poor job that less than six hours I was rushed to the hospitol due to constant bleeding and horrific pain, by far the worst pain I've ever experienced I would stronly suggest not having any dental work done by Michael K. Sutley. I don't know how this guy sleeps at night

I am male, 32 yo. I had one wisdom tooth removed. It was about 280. I also chose to have the laughing gas which was an extra 95. My insurance paid most of it, however the gas is generally not covered so I had to pay for that myself. My tooth was exposed and it was a simple extraction. The procedure was not painful, however the recovery time was longer than they led me to believe. There was some bleeding for about 24 - 36 hours and it took about 10 days before I was comfortable eating hard food again. I was given prescription pain medication so there was no pain, but I had no social life for 2 weeks. It is an older office and building, but everything was clean. I chose this office because I could walk there from my job. I did a few web searches on Dr. Sutley before my visit. I wanted to see if any other people had posted information. I really was unable to find much except his education, what dental offices he is affiliated with, and a few political contributions he made. The state of minnesota maintains a website that lists all dentists which have received reprimands or suspensions. Sutley did not show up on that list. Overall it was a good experience. If I needed more work done I be comfortable going back to him.

The receptionist was very rude, and Dr. Sutley was no better. Dr. Sutley's assistant was on the only one who had a sense of humor and made an attempt to make me feel comfortable. I'm still waiting for a refund from what Medica paid towards my tooth extractions.
