Condescending. I feel like proceedure was rushed, I was put under for wisdom teeth extraction. Still have difficulty opening my mouth I feel like much trauma was caused to my jaw. Recovery room is a joke. They don't use a wheel chair to move you after you wake up from sedation. One of the assistants about let me walk down stairs...

I was referred to Dr. Hansen to have my four wisdoms removed (3 impacted/1 erupted). I could have done it 10 years ago but thanks to pediatric orthodontics I never had any issues, so I was never pushed to get them out until now.
My wife had hers pulled by Dr. Hansen 4 months ago and was very happy. She said he was kind, professional, informative, and most importantly, quick! Hers were all erupted but I was still expecting an hour wait. She was done with local in under 20 minutes!
As I was being seated I asked the nurse how they do sedation and she said IV, so I let her know that I have some needle phobia. She said that's completely normal and that most of the people they see have the same anxiety as I do. She was very understanding which helped put me at ease. They gave me nitrous to help with my anxiety before starting the IV.
My experience with Dr. Hansen's office was excellent. Dr. Hansen was very professional and courteous, and did a great job of explaining things to me rather than just talk at me. He covered the risks but also reassured me how uncommon they are. He also dispelled some myths and set good expectations for recovery time and pain levels. His professionalism and confidence really put me at ease.
About Front Desk: His front desk assistant was very pleasant to work with. I overheard her answering the phones and her phone manners seemed excellent as well.

Went to get my lower right wisdom tooth out, and he made sure I stayed out of pain, even though it meant giving me an extra shot in the middle of the procedure.
I am prone to passing out over stuff like this, and right as I reached the reception desk I hit the floor. Dr. Hansen and his assistant came running down the hall and literally carried me, barely conscious, back to the room to lay down. They gave me an oxygen mask and some sugar tabs and had me stay until I got a ride home. They seemed very concerned for my wellbeing and took great care of me. Would definitely recommend :)

Dr Hansen was extremely rude to me and my mother, he talks down to patients and acts very pompous saying "I was on the cover of this magazine" Who cares? Nobody. I'll never use him again.

I took my daughter to see Dr. Hansen to have 4 teeth extracted, she is in the process of getting braces. I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews but other places could not get her in soon enough. I was able to get her an appointment within a few days. My only issue was the wait time in the office, it was over 30 minutes after her scheduled time before we went back. Once we got back the assistants were friendly as well, working quickly to get her prepared. Her records were out and ready, the Dr verified what was to be done and did a wonderful job explaining what would happen. I was able to stay with her until they did the actual extractions but she was out in less than 10 minutes. Her after care was well explained and we were on our way. I was very impressed when the Dr himself called later that afternoon to check on her. The extraction sites look great and healed well with little pain. I would certainly recommend him to anyone I know needing work. For reference, my daughter is 12 and is anxious about the work she is having done and even she really liked Dr. Hansen.
About Front Desk: While the front office was not the most professional I have seen they did their job well. They were helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They were super helpful getting an appointment scheduled within reasonable time. They told me exactly what to expect as far as cost. After care was explained again by the front desk and they made sure we had no other questions or concerns before leaving.

They were helpful in getting us an appointment in a timely manner, explained her after care, and made sure we had no questions or concerns before leaving. The information they gave me regarding payment was also very accurate.

I had a tooth extracted because of a failed root canal. I can't speak highly enought of the procedure. I was really dreading it and Dr. Hansen made it easy. He talked me though the entire procedure and answered all concerns. If you need oral surgery, he's the doctor to choose.

My daughter had her wisdom teeth pulled and the doctor did a good job but his two assistants were horrible! They were rude, unhelpful, and talked about what a pain in the ass my child was in their break room loud enough for her to hear. The other doctors had wonderful assistants that took over my daughters care since she obviously wasn't getting it. It's a shame that the doctor would allow this behavior towards his patients. I will never recommend this treatment to anyone else.
