I am usually very skeptical of doctor's facility and his/her ability and I dont paying extra for good quality. I have to say that this clinic might be one of the best in the JC area. The staff is very friendly and so is the doctor. Dr. Scalia takes time to talk and explain the x-ray/procedure and answer any questions. He seems knowledgeable and patient with customers. I had 2 wisdom teeth extracted and I didnt feel any pain. Since I was spotting slight bleeding after 24 hours, I left a vm as the office was close at 7:00 pm the following day. The docor called me up within 10 mins and offered to come in the office to check up if I was concerned. I was truly impressed at his responsiveness and care. Thank you Dr. Scalia.

Tooth extraction, Felt no pain during procedure, my insurance cover the entire procedure. Great chair -side manner! Dr. Scalia noticed that I was extremely nervous and did a great job of getting me calmed. The facilities were impeccably clean. The staff was professional and understanding Cool Ex-Ray machine. I'd highly recommend Dr. Scalia.

Highly inflated prices! he doesn't accept credit cards, debit cards, or flexible spending cards for the co-pay; be prepared to pay CASH! Parking on the street is a total nightmare! His billing dept will code your bill wrong so that your insurance kicks it back , thereby forcing you to pay out of pocket for services that are usually picked up by insurance. When you ask them to code it right so your insurance will pick it up.....you will first get a collection agency after you....soon after, a summons to small claims court will arrive. Dr. Scalia you need to do a little house cleaning with your billing dept! Hanging up on my insurance company TWICE while they tried to make sense out of my bill is just plain rude and UNPROFESSIONAL!! Regards,RM

Dr. Scalia was a very good doctor and surgeon. But the staff was horrible to deal with. They do not do their job when it comes to dealing with billing. They have left me no choice but to call them every day as to ensure that they do something about fixing THEIR mistakes which were sent to the insurance company. I have yet to get the situation cleared up and they have made it so stressful to deal with them.

The doctor didnt take the time to explain any possible side effects. I needed to remove my 4 wisdom teeth. The surgery caused me to have a hall in the sinus that took sometime to heal The staff did an awful job to get an insurance estimate; they fail to provide insurance with proper codes, which resulted in giving me an estimate for $250. Then, A Year later, they billed me over $1000 !! Horrible staff promised to discount and never did. I would never go or send any one I know there ever.

I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Scalia and was very satisfied. He was very competent and his staff is fantastic - very friendly and good at what they do. I have spoken with other people that had their wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Scalia and everyone had positive things to say. I was able to make a lot of appointments whenever I needed to, and Dr. Scalia was very accomodating. I had my procedure done at the new Jersey City Medical Center which was fantastic - the staff is amazing and the facility is clean and new. I would recommend Dr. Scalia to anyone who needs to get his/her wisdom teeth removed.

Dr. Scalia extracted all 4 of my wisdom teeth. He is an excellent dentist and a really nice man, which is reason enough to go to him. But, if you are nervous, like me, I definitely would tell you to go to him. He calmed me down at the 11th hour when I started to freak out! He kept tabs on me for 3 weeks after the surgery so I was really confident that everything was ok.
