I had two teeth extracted, I suspect unnecessariy. A super expensive dentist, $1,600.00 for a job tht took less than 20 minutes. Dr. Elias has a very persuasive tone and emeanor about him and very cleverly convinced me that I hd to have these two teeth extracted. He has been described as cunning and has been subjected to at lest one lawsuit, according to a patient.
I do not recommend this dentist to anyone. He is only interested in the excessive fees he has the reputation of charging and, believe me he charges them.

Average doctor that charges outrageous prices. Charged 2 grand for a 5 minute procedure. On average it costs 250 for an xray and 350 for a open jaw reduction; here it costs $300 for xray $200 consultation, which is a 5 minute talk, and $1500 for the reduction. I would strongly recommend against going here and make all attempts to go see another dentist.

I would not recommend Dr Elias to anyone seeking oral-maxillo treatment. NEVER! Stay away. I have had to sue him. He has a soft spoken manner, which is totally deceptive and cunning. He completely destroyed my life. The work he performed has cost me dearly. It has made me utterly miserable and left me with a disability for life. Every top surgeon in NYC that has looked at my mouth feels sorry for my fate and future. It has cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars to remedy. As a matter of fact, they tell me ( behind closed doors) that he is known far and wide for his mistakes!

Dr. Elias is absolutely the best. He is highly skilled and extremely understanding. He has a lovely office and a kind staff. All in all, a high class act with great results.

Dr Arthur Elias was recommended as a top maxillofacial/oral surgeon, and he has the credentials. I went for adult orthodontic treatment to another DDS. Elias was chosen to work closely with him in my case. Elias is courteous, polite, professional, all of that. But he is not honest about the results, and about what he promises. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST HIS QUIET WAYS! In fact, I found him to be quite dishonest. You ask him questions, he does not give you truthful answers. He guarantees results he cannot deliver, and as an anxious client, you wind up trusting his words. Over 4 years, with dishonest directions and supervision, he led me to believe that I was doing ok.... horror of horrors-- he wound up having to completely reconstruct my face! He broke my jaws, and bones in my face( with no prior consultation or permission), and turned me into looking like a totally different individual! He forced me into a position of having no other recourse but to have my entire face reconstructed ....he perfomed facial surgery that has turned out to be a disaster.
