I was having an impacted wisdom tooth removed that started to become painful. I was concerned about facial paralysis. He relieved my anxiety and nervousness and after numbing the area, he removed it in two minutes. It took longer to fill out the patient forms than to have a tooth removed. Following his office's post surgery instructions, I have healed nicely. Dr. Kalman and his office team are lovely. I would not stress if I needed their services again. I would recommend them highly.

Dr. Doron kalman deliberately fractured 2 natural teeth because he was angry with me for becoming emotional in his office. As a result of the first proceedure he placed implants and cracked two teeth in the process and immediately placed an implant in after an extraction without letting the area heal first. He also placed the wrong sized healing cap on one of the implants. His assistant didn't know how to suction the blood saliva and materials from the surgery, which frightened me and angered kalman toward me. Subsequently, upon the second visit after performing a bone grafting(which failed) he took 2 dental instruments, twisted two teeth and fractured them.

What a RIPP-OFF!!!
I went to this office for a consultation. I was not told from the beginning that it's a fee involved. I knew that I had to pay only for x-rays.
I suppose to have a surgery, followed by an implant (without crown on top).
At the first consultation I had an x-ray and I was told what a "huge work" he will have to do and what a huge amount I will have to pay: $4,900 as follows:
$800 bone graft (I needed he said), $2,500.00 surgery for sinus lift and $1,600.00 the implant.
I left and decided to go for a second opinion, to a dentist recommended by a friend, with a very nice office and only with 3 assistants (not so many, like dr. Kalman).
The dentist didn't charge the first consultation, extracted the tooth extremely easy and showed me on the x-ray that I had enough bone and I didn't need bone graft and also my sinus was OK, no need for surgery. Right after the extraction he put the implant and charged $995.00.
What a difference!!
Also, after few days from my first visit with Dr.. Kalman, I got a bill from the office requesting the payment for consultation; they billed my insurance $200.00 for the x-ray and consultation and the insurance didn't pay for the consultation.
I called the office and spoke to Samantha, a very rude young women who was telling me constantly to shut up and listen to her. I was trying to tell her that I don't feel responsible for this amount due to the fact that I was never told about this "consultation fee". She said then that she will bill the insurance under a different code and she will get the money she wants, and she hung up on me.
What a DISASTER office, rude people and a true RIPP-OFF!
Be aware!
About Front Desk: Very rude; they are so many, and very poor service. I had to cancel an appointment 3 times, they were still calling me. If I asked about those inflated charges, they were rude and hanging up the phone.

I would recommend dr. Kalman to all my friends. i did already some dental work(implants) . I like his professionalism , ready to answer to any questions regarding treatment that needs to be done. I think is very well price compare with the treatment and the hi Tech end he is using. Overall I had a good experience and the implant work is perfect. The staff, the waiting room and music is very nice /relaxing.

I really loved how well I was treated not only by Dr. Kalman but also by his staff. Everyone was really nice and helpful. (I had one back molar which had to be pulled and a dental implant put in.) I'm a student with no dental insurance so Dr. Kalman worked with me on a payment schedule and reducing the costs so I could afford it. The work he did was wonderful; so quick and pain-free. I was amazed how easy he made the process and how nice he was about everything (great bedside manner). Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with the experience.

I had 2 teeth pulled, one wisdom, one that was infected from a failed root canal years ago. I was out of the office in a total of 40 minutes, start to finish.
What's great about their office is that they can take care of everything in one visit, they do not make you come for a consulation first. They pulled me into an x-ray immediately, then to one room to consult & give me novocaine. Then right away I went to another room, and the entire extrations were finished within 1 minute. I just started a song on my mp3 player, and they tapped me that it was over. AMAZING! I've had other wisdom teeth removed & it took 20 minutes. The staff is really nice and makes sure you understand everything as well. Great experience overall! (which I never thought I'd say about getting teeth pulled).

The Dental office looks professional and clean. Friendly, courteous staff. Dr. Kalman is very kind and patient. Received two extractions with no pain. Procedure was done very quick. Highly recommended.

Dr. Kalman is a wonderful and caring person who took into consideration my well being every step of the way. His staff is courteous, efficient and organized. If anyone is looking for an oral surgeon in queens I highly recommend him.
