Dr. Meltzner is expensive and may not have the best bedside manner, but he is a very skilled surgeon when it comes to facial trauma - reconstruction and scar revision. He is experienced, knows what he's doing, and is the best in Oklahoma regarding any type of facial trauma repair. He did a great job revising a scar on my face - the sutures were tiny, which made for a very small, unnoticeable scar, and no train tracks. He is conservative, honest, and will not take things too far - unlike some plastic surgeons. He's better than a plastic surgeon, because he specializes in the face. The majority of plastic surgeons are more focused on boob jobs, liposuction, and full body plastics.
The only downside is the price. Some insurance companies do not cover his services because scar revision can be considered "elective".

Horrible bedside manner. Abuses insurance. Expect to pay out of pocket no matter what or how many insurances you have!

Dr. Meltzner has extremely poor bedside manners. Especially in the case of children. Very unsatisfied at how we were treated by him in the office.

Dr. Meltzner is the most wonderful Dr. Our daughter had crushed her left side of her face and several other damages and Dr. Meltzner fixed it all up to perfection. I can't say enough about him he is the greatest.
