He is based in Walnut Creek now. Each time you go for an appt. expect to wait for 1 to 1.5 hours before he starts any treatment. He'll spend about 15 mins working on your teeth, tell you to come back for another appt. because the treatment is not complete while he rushes to work on another patient. He comes up with a "treatment plan " and $$$$$$, but he doesn't spend any time to explain what the treatment is for. Wouldn't recommend him.

On my very first visit to Dr. Patel's office I was made to wait an hour and a half. I was told that there was an emergency which had taken up a large amount of time that morning. My appointment was for x-ray's and a teeth cleaning. Since I had to wait so long only the x-ray's were completed and I was told that if I wanted to have a teeth cleaning I would need to wait a while longer for him to finish with other patients. My second experience was with an 8am saturday appointment. I arrived only to find six other people waiting also with 8am appointments. At 9am Dr. Patel finally came in to anesthetize me. The procedure was painful and he literally wrestled my face resulting in immense swelling that lasted for five days despite anti-inflammatory's.
Needless to say I do not reccommend Dr. Patel whatsoever. I can say that this was the worst and most frustrating dental experience I've ever had in the U.S. and internationally.
