We had selected Dr. Crandall over another Orthodontist because she stated the braces would be on for about 15 months. It was 2 years, the same estimate the other Orthodontist, who was less money and had MUCH better customer service. Also, we were billed for things our insurance had paid for and didn't find out until I reviewed an insurance statement. It then took a month to get a refund, which was smaller than I calculated it should have been. The braces did not seem to be a painful as my other child's - who had gone to the other Orthodontist, but I certainly went through pain and anxiety. Also, because we did not want to take our son out of school for his appointments, we always waited a minimum of 40 minutes (once for over 1.5 hours) before he was seen and the waiting room never had enough chairs and the ones that were there were not comfortable.
