I was a patient before his move to his new office. Russell Chang was the most expensive orthodontist I interviewed. He dragged out treatment then did not give me copies of requested x-rays for over a year until his office admitted it lost some. At initial consultations, he said I needed braces for health reasons and gave a written bio and oral explanation of his expertise in the relevant medical area. However, he did not treat me for the better part of a year. Instead, someone recently out of school whose full name & background I did not know until later did. Dr. Chang's diagnosis was contradicted by later second opinions, including at the institution Chang stated his affiliation with as showing his expertise. (I was also confused by how Russell Chang's title & department at that institution were explained to me as being different from what Chang stated).
