I wish I had never sent my daughter to Dr. Rideau for her treatment.
It has been a nightmare. About 4-5 months into the treatment, things were not going well. The old problem was still there, and new problems were introduced by his procedure. The mid line of front teeth was shifted, the new tooth was growing onto the wire of the braces, and he didn't do anything about them. Finally he said that he could not find any space to expand her jaw, and he asked me, " You tell me where I can find the space." Come on, the phase was called expansion and he didn't know where to find the space after 10 months! He suggested to pull 4 teeth to make space...His attitude was not friendly any more ever after he found out the problem of no space.
We finally quit after we talked to other orthodontist and oral surgeons. We lost money, 13 months of time and my daughter had to go through unnecessary suffering and was left with a worse orthodontic situation.
