Dr. Schellhase was my orthodontist as a teenager. While at college my teeth started to move after seeking Dr. Schellhase's advice for treatment he sent me to a dentist to "check to see if there are any major problems before Dr. schellhase started treatment".
After calling Dr. schellhase office to reschedule an appointment, I was told by the office staff to come in for impressions and x-rays that afternoon.
The next week I called to see what treatment would help my teeth from moving. I was told by a very rude office lady that "Dr Schellhase can not help you." They did not give me any reason why they would not treat me.
I knew perfectly well my insurance did not cover ortho treatment but I was more than happy to pay cash.
I went to another orthodontist and paid cash up front for my treatment.
