Conveniently, I decided I needed braces about a year into attending a college 4 hours away from Boston (where I grew up). My mom has always held very specific opinions on dental health - she does not believe in extraction, or any sort of permanent modifications to the teeth themselves, which is what many other dental professionals will recommend. I tend to agree that I'd like to keep my smile, and just make it better, so when my mom found Dr. Azar for my sister, I decided that would probably be about the best thing for me as well. Throughout the year and a half of treatment, Dr. Azar was always happy to take me on the weekends (only time I could come back besides breaks), and that made what could have been an incredibly stressful experience much easier. Most recently, I was trying to schedule a braces removal appointment, which takes too long for their shorter weekend hours. Unfortunately, there was no room available for the only week I would be home. However, when I called on the morning of Tuesday (the day they remove braces), I was told they could fit me in. I saw their schedule - it really was packed. Thanks to their flexibility, I won't needlessly wear braces for 2 more months. I don't really know about relative cost.(2 or 3)

About Front Desk: Dr. Azar employs some of the kindest and most helpful front desk staff I have met, and they helped me work out what is probably the most difficult schedule conceivable - which is having Monday-Friday classes, and not actually living in the Boston area. They deserve much of the credit for the outstanding treatment I received.
