I've been a patient of Dr. Karl's for about a year now. I do not recommend this orthodontist. Compared to other orthodontists in the Grand Rapids area, he tops the pain, stress, and anxiety levels. He doesn't care if you are in pain, he doesn't loosen the braces, he just gives you wax, tightens them, or tells you "It's a matter of time" But in my whole year of orthodontics, none of his advice helps.
