This is the best place for children who may have anxiety about dental procedures!!!
My son had horrible previous dental experiences. He had a root canal without enough numbing medicine and so was terrified to return to a dentist for many months. Knowing he needed a filling on the other side, and not wanting him to have another root canal, I tried to find a dentist who could regain his lost trust.
We had visited several offices, and talked to dozens of local dentists, some who even frightened my son without working on him. In one office the "parent area" ended and young children were worked on in another room behind a closed door. No one would ever know what type of experience the child had. Another dentist thought he could hide a needle behind his back and then "trick" my son into holding still while plunging it into him.
Then we found Dr. Leong, the difference was obvious and amazing. The office had children's books, coloring, and toys; simple but perfect for my other children, and uses the latest tech. The staff worked together to make him feel safe, talking before doing anything. There was a video above the chair, and I was asked to stay with him. They made sure his level of comfort was sufficient, and he felt no pain.
