I had a very unpleasant experience with Dr. Starr. In our 2nd visit, irritated by anesthesia injection, my son started to move and cry which was normal for a three-year-old. He acted similarly in past treatment. However, Dr. Starr's attitude was quite different. He quit without much try and patience. Maybe he was not in good mood? The nurse and I calmed down my kid and then I asked him to let Dr. Starr give another try. But Dr. Starr refused. The nurse suggested that I go and ask him myself in person. I went to his office and saw him reading a book casually with his two legs on his desk like nothing was happening next door. I asked and he rejected. He said he would try in another time but not today. I couldn't agree. My son had got all anesthesia today. Its so irresponsible for a dentist to leave work half done and let patient go with an open cavity without caring. With my insistence, he finally stood up and came back to put a temporary filling. We still have to go back for permanent filling but at least the cavity won't get worse for the coming months. Its sad to see Dr. Starrs indifference and coldness. I can't help questioning his ethics and commitment to be a pediatric dentist to provide quality care to young patients.

I know this doctor: 3 months
