My six-year-old had very bad experiences with her previous dentist, but after a few visits with Dr. Dawn Woo-Huysing ("You can call me Dr. Dawn," she said to my daughter), she's over her fears completely!
The entire staff is warm and friendly. The office is inviting for kids, even to the extent of having a special cave-like fun play area for them. The paperwork to fill out before you come is online, so even that's quick and easy! The entire environment is entirely professional, but also very welcoming.
And finally, Dr. Dawn herself has an amazing manner with kids. She's fun, warm, and kind. She and her staff were very reassuring for my frightened little girl, so much so that she was looking forward to coming back, even after they'd had to do a filling. Best of all--the cutest thing ever--is that Dr. Dawn sings Disney princess songs while doing the exam, she'll even take requests. It was absolutely perfect for my little princess-obsessed child.
Thank you, Dr. Woo, for helping my daughter get past her fears of the dentist. You are a credit to the field of pediatric dentistry!
