Dr. Froum is a gem, who in addition to decades of experience and knowledge is also a kind and caring person who can calm you down even as you are sitting in a dentist's chair. I came in with concerns about gum recession, which my previous dentist dismissed as "something that happens to everyone eventually", and another dentist wanted to treat with too many advanced procedures. When I arrived in Dr. Froum's office, I was very nervous about what it is that I needed. After a thorough examination and reviewing my xrays, Dr. Froum sat down with me and explained that while my gums were definitely in need of some periodontal TLC, the situation was far from hopeless, and that in the age of today's periodontal advances I have many options. Dr. Froum performed a deep cleaning and gave me some local antibiotics (Arestin), as well as suggested that I have four instead of two cleanings a year. He also recommended a dentist and explained how I can take better care of my gums.
About Front Desk: The front desk is very helpful and welcoming. Although Dr. Froum does not participate in any insurance plan, they fill out the paperwork that you need to submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement, and have helped me navigate the process.
