Dr. Akimoto is a great doctor and has done a great job with my implant. The medical team is also awesome. I cannot say the same thing for their team handling the financials though. Pretty much every visit cuased confusion. Unexpected costs, incorrectly submitted claims (e.g. incorrect claim codes being used).. I had to talk to my benefits (Mircosoft Premera), Dr. Akimoto's office and spend a lot of energy and time to get the bills right or otherwise would pay unnecessarily extra. They failed to notify me of expected charges about appointments and operations. Dr. Akimoto is a great doctor; just make sure you proactively manage the bills and find out the charges before making appointments and expect to pay more.
