My first experience with Dr. Kent was great - I came in with a chipped tooth and he took me immediately as a first time patient. Unfortunately, his office staff failed to submit my procedure to my insurance so I had to pay the full amount of $500. Then, 2 months later, the sealant came off for no apparent reason - I had been following his advice and had not so much as eaten an apple for fear of dislodging the sealant (the damage was on my lower front tooth), I went in to have it fixed and he "found" several more things "wrong" with my teeth which I declined to have fixed at that time for expense reasons. He fixed the chipped tooth again and submitted it to insurance this time, so I was covered.
I went in for a cleaning 2 months later and he found cavities that I was skeptical about so I got a second opinion and they were not actually cavities but "shadows" that don't require treatment. He would have had me pay another $600 to get "shadows" filled.
His staff is fantastic though.
