I had a toothache and had gone to my excellent local dentist on Vashon Island, Dr. Rasmussen, who upon seeing my x-ray told me that I needed a root canal and recommended Dr. Rachelle Cohen at West Seattle Endodontics. His assistant called and got me an appointment with Dr. Cohen the same day! I took the ferry to West Seattle and got to the appointment, quite nervous, but everyone in the office was very kind and explained exactly what would happen. Dr. Cohen and her assistant Elizabeth were both wonderful! They made sure that I was not in pain, providing laughing gas to relax me along with injected pain relief. Before they started, they let me choose my favorite music to listen to during the procedure. They were both so thoughtful throughout and kept me informed of how things were going. All went smoothly, despite the fact that I had had an abscess under the tooth in question which they expertly cleared up. At the end, I felt fine and was able to drive back to the ferry and home, with just some Ibuprofen for pain. I was amazed at how expertly everything was taken care of and so quickly, too. I would highly recommend Dr. Cohen to anyone needing a root canal! She's an expert!! (My car mechanic also raved about her expertise!)

About Front Desk: The front desk attendant was very kind and had me fill out forms. Before I went back to the treatment room, I mentioned that I was in a 2 hour parking place and he said I had better move my car and showed me which street might have more unlimited parking. Very helpful!.
