Dr. Feasel has excellent skill when doing work. He has done some fillings and crowns for me. I've seen maybe 6 dentists over the last few years. Skill-wise, he's either #1 or #2 (can't decide). Everything he did was permanent - no problems down the line. Everything looks and feels good.
However, he does seem to recommend treatment for a lot of small cavities that seem to be pretty small to me. It's not bad, but if I go to another dentist, they'll tell me it doesn't need to be treated. Once, I had a diagnosis from Dr. Feasel and another dentist in the same 6 month period. Dr. Feasel recommended a lot more fillings and crowns than the other guy.
Prices are reasonable for what he does, maybe a little above average, but not horrible. However, he generally wants to use the better materials for everything (resin fillings, porceline-gold crowns). The office staff was always knowledgable about my insurance, which helped.
Pain management was very good. I generally have a hard time getting numb, but he has always given me an adequate dose of anesthetic in a comfortable way, and generally goes out of his way to eliminate or minimize pain during treatment.
