I had to see Dr. Gutarts on an emergency basis and was scheduled in for a consult right away. Finding out I needed a root canal I informed Dr. Gutarts that I was leaving on a cruise to Europe and didn't feel comfortable waiting until I returned home. Dr. Gutarts was able to fit me in within three days over a Holiday weekend. On the day of my appointment Dr. Gutarts greeted me in the waiting room and after administering the novocaine he indicated that the hard part was over. Of course, I laughed after being flooded with memories of very painfull root canals experienced in the past. But he was right. It was the least painful root canal I have ever had. It was done quickly and efficiently. Calming chairside manner.
