I had been turned away from my usual dental office when I called in for an emergency procedure. This was at the UCLA dental clinic. I was stuck. This would mean that I would have to endure the weekend in horrible pain. This was on a Friday and I was frantic to find someone who could help me with my tooth pain, which was nearly unbearable. I contacted Dr. Sakurai after an internet search, and she called me back on a day when her office is normally closed-- and took me in immediately and got me treatment. I was in tears because she took the time and effort to help me and relieve me of my painful situation. I shall never forget her kindness and professional demeanor and it took me only minutes to decide to make her my primary care dentist. Her offices are immaculate and state of the art, and the main thing is that she cares about her patients. I can't say enough good things about her and would recommend her highly to anyone.
