I went to Dr. Sheets for a dental emergency. I drove 1 hour
to see her after reading her information on line. In my
15minute visit with her, her questions were more related to my
work and who we knew in common. She did nothing to
help my problem. She charged me $85. for our chat and
$65 for one xray that she did not use. She scheduled
me to get a battery of xrays even though I had had xrays
done in the last 6 mos. (No concern about the amount
of radiation I am being exposed to.) She scheduled me
to meet with another doctor in two weeks at which time
my emergency concerns and all other concerns would
be addressed. I was told that the examination would
be $495.00. The new xrays would cost $200 and
one crown would cost $2000. I was impressed with
what I saw on the internet. I was not impressed with
what I experienced at her office. The office looks good.
The doctor did not answer any of my questions. Instead,
i was left asking my questions to the front desk office.
I did not understand why she wanted to put temporary
fillings in two teeth that need permanent restorations.
I really felt that it was all about the MONEY and not my
health.
