Dr. Doan does good artistic work on my teeth but his "bedside manner" leaves me cold. I like warmth, caring and friendliness along with skill and artistry. His assistant is EXTREMELY nice and seems
to care, his receptionists have always been congenial. However he himself (the ONLY dentist) appears as though out of the mists like a magician and after performing the work runs away as though some emergency is happening when there have never been any other patient there while I was there. I don't "get the disappearing act" and its unfriendly and offputting. He has a problem with being open and communicative, seems lost in thought and distracted and THAT makes me feel like a number.
Its a turn off and if Im going to pay I'd like someone who at least sticks around and seems to care, know what I mean. His attitude has actually made me avoid going back.
I also have a tooth problem that was never addressed although it hurt at that time and he can't see what it is even using xray..its now causing me more problems.
