I really like this dentist. He is very friendly and reassuring, and clearly very experienced in performing procedures. Practice is clean and modern, and uses up-to-date equipment and methods (composite resin fillings instead of amalgam, x-rays instantly available on PC instead of film). Every treatment I've had has been utterly painless; Dr. Adair doesn't skimp on anaesthetic, and even those shots are totally pain-free. However - my initial complaint has never fully been relieved, and he admits to me that he is stumped as to what is causing it. He has done a root canal and full crown on the offending tooth, and replaced the fillings on the adjacent teeth, yet I still get intermittent piercing pain and soreness in the area along with sensitivity to cold. I've had two recurrences of this since the root canal, and Dr. Adair has been good about prescribing antibiotics and painkillers but I'd have to say that their effectiveness is limited in my case. Despite all this, I am convinced that Dr. Adair is doing everything he can to solve the complaint, and I'm chalking my problem up as an atypical presentation. I fully recommend him for both adults and children.
