I've only seen Dr. van der Werf for a consultation on a broken tooth that needs a root canal. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and more than willing to answer any and all questions. His assistants were very nice, and very friendly. It was only when I was told it would cost the equivalent of a month's rent that I said goodbye. I'm still undecided as to whether or not to go with this endodontist for the root canal. If it weren't for the financial issue, it would be definite yes. The final kicker was when I had to pay $80 for the consultation. This came as a shock since the dentist that referred me to him said the initial consultation would be free. That figures.
