I'd been going to him forever and was comfortable doing so. Every visit there were "beginnings of problems" that would cost $1500-$2000. Constant jacking of the bill, and unnecesarry procedures are the M.O. at Dr. Riopelle's office. My family had all stopped going there years ago, but finally now that I am at a different dentist I'm kicking myself for paying a fortune and wondering how many of the "preventitive" fillings were really bull. Thing is, he's the calmest, nicest guy. The fact remains though that they squeeze every penny they can out of your mouth, even when you don't need it. I know of about 12 family members that feel the same way. Go elsewhere.
