Dr. Higgins installed a permanent crown in Dec. 2014 poorly. I had sensitivity to cold in two areas from the start. When questioned about it, he said I might need a root canal. When I asked him what he was seeing on the X-ray, he pointed to the nerve of the wrong tooth. I questioned him, and he immediately left the room and didn't show me what he was really seeing (I suspect, it was all a smoke and mirrors show for me). I received two other dentist opinions that both said I need to redo the crown. I submitted a claim with the CA delta board and my insurance company. My insurance company sided with my other dentists for a new crown (Dr.Higgins didn't provide any information to the insurance company), and requested my money back. I still have not received my money back. Not only is Dr. Higgins not a good dentist, he is dishonest and does not stand behind his work. He does not work by the oath of "First, do not harm".
