I last saw this dentist in 2007, so take the prices with a grain of salt. It had been a while since I saw a dentist and I was just going for a checkup and cleaning. Dr. Saiedy spotted a cavity or two and a slight crack in one of my teeth that he suggested I might want to get fixed via an inlay as preventive care, but we could watch it and see. Unfortunately I went ahead with the inlay, which was dumb as I was in pain for months after. Dr. Saiedy couldn't figure out why it kept causing me pain and suggested it might be psychosomatic. I disagreed. He did attempt to file down any pressure points on the tooth but it did little good. Eventually the pain diminished and became merely an annoying but minor sensitivity that I still experience. I'd recommend holding off on any similar work until the dentist says it really is necessary. Dr. Saiedy did take great care to make his work blend with the other teeth, so if you're looking for good cosmetic work he might be good for you. I don't have all my EOBs handy, but I think the inlay was something like $450 after insurance.
