despite having an appointment, i waited over an hour to be seen. when he finally came over to see me, he told me that i had 6 cavities and i must get xrays done. what? i came in for a standard cleaning. i was suspicious, but ding bu was a referral from a family member and because of that, i trusted him blindly.
so i get my teeth cleaned the first time. despite my gut, i decide to go ahead and make a return appointment to get the cavities filled.
the novocaine shots were administered with horrible technique and caused me excruciating pain. my body involuntarily arched up and started shaking. he must have hit a nerve. as he was drilling, he hit another nerve and caused massive bleeding and pain once again - my mouth filled with blood and i could see slight panic in his eyes. he was able to fix it, but who knows the extent of the needless damage that was already done.
then during the appointment, he said, i'm filling these because they COULD become cavities - they're in hard to reach areas and food could get stuck there. so it turns out he lied and said i had cavities when i didn't.
i still have constant pain from all the teeth he worked on but am too scared to go back to a dentist after my experience with ding bu.
