I went to Dr Konigsberg because he was listed as one of the top dentists in the Washingtonian. I was VERY disappointed! While professional, he was rather cold and impersonal. After a cursory introduction, he had his dental tech work on me. She was so rough the procedure was the most painful I have ever experienced! The cleaning resulted in multiple mouth ulcers. When I told Dr. Konigsberg, he denied that would be possible. He also insisted I purchase very expensive mouth guards (another dentist said I did not need) and talked to me like I was a child. He referred me to one of the highest priced entodontist in the area. (I liked the orthodontist even though my root canal resulted in the inability to open my mouth for 2 months! I had to return to Dr. Konigsberg for the crown. He treated me like I was a hypochondriac (I really tolerate pain well...generally never even use novicaine!) and tried to open my mouth when my jaw was in spasm! He treated me like I was an annoyance in his day! The crown he made did not fit well and I had to return a number of times. How can this be the same guy others rave about? Did his staff write the reviews? Would not use Dr. Konigsberg EVER again!
