I just hit 25 years seeing Dr. Fein. Our whole family goes there, we even moved our teenage children over to his practice from their pediatric dentist. The three other patients we've recommended all were very happy.
Dr. Fein is a perfectionist. He will take extra time to get it right, staying after hours if necessary, or send something back to the lab I've never had any problem with work he's done, and anything he said might need to be replaced in ten years or so still hasn't deteriorated.
His staff also is excellent. Grace the office manager is wonderful and very friendly. They submit billing to insurance on your behalf even if they don't work with that insurance company. The hygienist and dental assistant are excellent, do great work, and also are very nice. Costs are reasonable for San Francisco.
He's got a good sense of humor, and golf does factor into it.
He's done cavities, root canals, crowns with and without posts, filling replacements, and porcelain veneers. All completely successful, low pain. My veneers are about 20 years old, still going strong and look great, though Dr. Fein says he'd love to re-do them with the newest technology "when my boat comes in".
