We with my wife visited dentist Dr.Steven Mautner because the price was very reasonable and unfortunately we did not research enough.Dr. Mautner recommended putting the bridge for 4 teeth. He installed the bridge, which fell down in several days. Dr. Mautner was hurried, working at the same time with several patients. I visited his office 6 times within 2,5 months and every visit he was giving me just a few minutes. Dr. Mautner replaced the bridge twice. Finally he installed two bridges for 2 and 3 teeth and they still do not work properly. I am suffering and eating mostly soft and liquid food because there are some spaces between sharp metal and gum. The dentist whom I visited recently recommended take the bridge out and install 5 crowns for the price 4 times higher than I paid to Dr.Mautner.
My wife has even more problems after the installation 5 teeth bridge for her by Dr.Mautner. She ended in emergency room with the severe infection and swollen face. The doctor from emergency room prescribed antibiotic for her which she used for 10 days. The dentist, whom she visited later, recommended replacing the bridge with 5 crowns and making a root canal for the total price almost 5 times higher than Dr.Mautner charge her for the bridge. Dentists whom we are visited recently did not believe that our bridges were installed by licensed American dentist.
After being patients of Dr.Mautner we realized that it was the worst experience we have ever had by visiting any doctor in America.
I am 81 years old a Holocaust Survivor and cannot believe that after living for 40 years in a great country I am facing to survive again because I visited a wrong doctor. Definitely I will never recommend this doctor to anybody.
