He said my gums were bad & I needed to use a prescription chemical to rinse with that I learned from others can discolor the tongue, etc. I never had gum problems before & I felt like it was a set up for future work, especially after a few cavity fillings by him my first in over a decade. I was SUSPICIOUS! So I stopped using him about 9 or 10 years ago. I tried a dentist further north in Tamarac & was immediately told by Dr. Cohen that my mouth, gums, & teeth were perfect textbook classic & that if everyone was like me he would be broke! A decade later Dr. Cohen says the same & other than a cleaning every 6 months have had no work done. I had no gum problems as Dr. Bacheikov claimed & I suspect the 2 fillings he filled, at hefty South Beach prices I might add, were a croc full of you know what. This guy reminds me of the bad car mechanic that makes up problems to create work at hefty fees & the inept doctor. Run for the hills & get a better dentist further north out of con city South Beach! Run do not walk away! Run, run, run as fast as you can!

About Front Desk: A front desk from hell! An elderly lady, I believe the dentist's mother. She came across as the money grubber of the operation to me (just my opinion). Once I avoided the annual x ray as I felt their price was exorbitant plus I have had near perfect teeth & gums all my life so felt (& still do a decade plus later) that I should only have an x ray every 2-3 years or so as I presently do. Well I left after a cleaning & the woman, my lord, went running after me & got me at the elevator telling me, "You have to come back for an x ray." I reply, "Oh, no I don't! I I have to leave for an appointment now. Next time!" That was also after the chemical/ gum fiasco I spoke of above. Well, I changed dentists & sure enough she calls me about 6 months later saying, "You have to come in for a cleaning & x rays." I replied, "Sorry, I plan to move soon & will use a dentist up north". She snapped, "You can still come in here before you move & return during visits!" I said, "That wouldn't be practical, no thank you, click!" I dunno if that woman (his mom?) still works there but if she does I would surely avoid that office like the plague. As for his shenanigans with cavities & gums, I dunno if it was - in my opinion - incompetence or his mom egging him on or simple incompetence / greed but all I described was my honest experience & opinion and I would avoid that joint!

Front desk:

Hygiene rating:

About Hygienist: She seemed okay but remember her having me lie flat on my back & I had a terrible hiccup in the middle. She said, "Please do not die on me!" I've heard of stories of bacteria trickling back on a rare occasion & causing fatalities - rare but sheesh that incident spooked me. I don't mind sitting in a chair tilted backwards but not flat on the back. Would never allow that again. Otherwise her fillings for a few years were good & I liked her politics she use to talk about to me during the cleanings.
