Many years of successful prosthodontia (crown & bridge) treatment until 2009 when he constructed a 7-unit fixed bridge - lower anteriors with removable partial for chewing surfaces. Fee: $11,800. Less than 4 years later, the bridge is wobbly, close to falling out and entire mandible must be made functional via implant procedures & full denture.. "These things happen" he said. "Not your fault. Not mine." Well, I've been told that in NY State the dentists replace work that lasts less than 5 years. Florida has no such ethical standards. Dr. Gleiber's offer to me: $4000 and he'll take care of the problem (with or without implants - my choice - of course periodontist will do the implants for a separate charge.) He accepts no responsibility for the $11,800 investment I made in him in March 2009 that has ended in collapse, March 2013,
