After treatment by another area dentist, I developed SEVERE TMJ. Improper crown work and fillings resulted in crushing headaches, dizziness, hand, arm, back, neck, and shoulder pain and debilitating weakness in my upper body. I had to give up my workouts and could not participate in any physical activity. I could not do simple housework including dishes, cooking, laundry, and cleaning. Gradually, as my jaw shifts back to its normal position, my syptoms lessen. I have gone from hopeless to hopeful that I will regain 100% of my upper body strength and will be able to again enjoy exercise and sports.
