I chose Dr. Haydon because of his equipment and practice in sanitizing the tools used on patients. As with most dentists, the technician actually does the cleaning and x-rays. My frustration is that his rates are very high and he's not in many of the dental insurance available to individuals. Even company insurance plans do not cover most of his rates. I asked about any discount if I chose to pay directly (outside of insurance) and was told none is provided. I'm afraid that as rates increase, I will need to look for another dentist. Fortunately, I have excellent teeth and good dental health. It's a shame that the rates may drive patients away.
