Dr. Berman is not very personable. In fact, he never once introduced himself to me, hardly made eye contact and kept his back turned to me during most of the visit. I do applaud Dr. Berman on explaining the fees in quite a bit of detail. But I think that quality is perhaps much more important than cost. Because I, like most consumers, will pay a little more for good service. To me, good dental service means making the patient feel comfortable, welcome and informed. I felt that the doc was somewhat aloof and mostly alienated myself from his patients and practice. Lydia, the dental assistant was excellent - perhaps she should be the one wearing the white coat.
