If you are looking for a dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Blacher. The procedures I have experienced include dental cleanings, periodontal treatment, and the placement of a crown. What I like about this dentist is that he really seemed to care about my dental health. He seems very competent. Past dentists have told me what treatment I needed, but this dentist went on to explain, in layman terms, more about what needed to be done and why, including real life repercussions if such treatment was not undertaken. His bedside manner is fantastic. Funny, professional, not clinical, a real person. You get the sense that you are dealing with someone who is up to speed on the most modern way to perform each procedure. All of this left me with a feeling of ease and comfort, which are not words I normally associate with going to the dentist. Also, I appreciated the effort he made in making sure that I experienced the lowest level of discomfort possible, not only during the procedure, but also later on after the novocain wore off. Cant recommend highly enough.
